Comments = We wanted to thank all the folks that helped with our daugher's
wedding and for the out-of-town guests the day after. It was wonderful
that Jason showed up Sun. morning with all the food and paper products.
All I had to do was supply beverages & dessert. The food was so good and
enjoyed by all. I actually got to eat which didn't happen at the wedding.

Jason, Thank you so much for everything you did for our wedding this past
weekend. You wouldn't believe the comments we received about the food. "Oh
my God! This is the best chicken I've ever had!" "Have you all tried
the barbeque yet? It's amazing." "You have to try the beans."
Becca and I had so many people come to us and say it was the most fun they've
ever had at a wedding; Hill City BBQ was a huge part of that. I know it was a
long day for you, but all your effort is sincerely appreciated. You took such
good care of us, our families, the wedding party, and the guests. We can't possibly

The quality of Jason’s food, service, and his professionalism was exceptional.
Several guests commented on how his BBQ and potato salad were the best they had
ever tasted. He presents the food in a very aesthetically pleasing manner and
he provides a smile to each of your guests while he works attentively, making
sure everything operates flawlessly. He is by far one of the best caterers I

Jason!!! You have done it again! Your food, preparation and service is
outstanding. We had Jason and his team provide the dinner for our daughter,
Kitty Shepley's marriage to Matt Walls. He arrived early in the morning to set
up his cookers and start the meat cooking. The best part of his team on this day
was his mother who helped serve and added beauty to the whole experience. The
table set up was grand and the food was so good that everyone was talking about
it for the whole evening. Even other BBQ "experts" said it was the
best they had ever tasted. We are so happy that we picked Jason and Hill City
BBQ for our event. We would advise anyone who wants the best food, service and

EVERYBODY was raving about the food and we can't even count the number of

Jason told us that the last thing we would need to worry about was the food at
our wedding. He was 100% correct! Not only was there plenty of food for each
person, but we were able to enjoy leftovers for lunch the next day (an exciting
surprise!) The food looked, tasted, and smelled amazing all day long and
everything went off without a hitch. Thank you Jason and team for a wonderful
job! You helped us work with our budget and also were able to compromise with
us due to changes in our wedding total. Of the 100 people served at our event,
we probably had pleasing comments from each person!

the Salem VA Hospital Center Christmas Party this year. Food was great and those
great Veterans are still talking about it and wanting more for next year. So

only was the food incredible but the display was beautiful as well. The owner
and his employees are exceptionally polite and friendly. With Hill City BBQ you

was out of this world!! My friends and family are still talking about the
feast. Yes, it was a FEAST! Professionallt prepared and attractively served. I
highly reccommend them for any catered occasion. I am trying to think of

A sincere Thank you and a job well done to Hill City BBQ. The Luncheon that was
prepared for our soldiers and thier families -incredible! Jason, his Father and
the Rolling Thunder crew started about 0200 hrs on Sunday morning in near
freezing temperatures. I did not see or talk to Jason again until about 1000
hrs.. I felt comfortable leaving it all up to him. The meal was served at 1135
and within 35 minutes, 217 of our soldiers and families had already gone
through the buffet line. An incredible meal. Thank you Hill City BBQ for such a

For our wedding we wanted to give our families and friends, mostly from the
North, a great taste of the good cooking the South has to offer. Hill City BBQ
catered our rehearsal dinner... and represented Southern BBQ very well. Folks
LOVED the spread. I had tasted Jason's cooking before and knew that folks would
want to take some home, so we ordered lots extra. After the wedding, we sent
folks home with nearly one hundred servings "to go". For the party
planner or bride who wants assured success, Jason will put your mind at ease.
He and his dad are extremely professional and very customer-service oriented.
Your total satisfaction is the goal... and they deliver. I wholeheartedly
recommend these folks. You will be so glad you chose them for your special

attended the Peakland Pool BBQ on the 4th of July that you did and it was
great. I bet there was 500 people not to mention the seconds and thirds most
had. Food was excellent. We went through like 6 bottles of sauce that day. Hope

We enjoyed your BBQ tremendously this past Saturday. What skill. Being from
Texas I have never seen a Hog being smoked and it was quite a treat. The three
sauces was a neat regional addition. The Chicken was good and the opportunity

Being from Georgia, my husband and I were a little apprehensive about Virginia
BBQ. We have tried many BBQ joints in the Charlottesville area, but have never
tried anything comparable to Hill City BBQ. The unique flavor will have you
going back for more! Now, we've just got to convince these guys to move to
